This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit foldren.shop or buy from us, why we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to customers and visitors in the UK, the EU and elsewhere.

What we collect
- Order data: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number (optional), items ordered, order value and currency, order notes.
- Payment data: payment is handled directly by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of payment, the payment method type and, for cards, the last four digits and expiry date — never the full card number or security code.
- Account data: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, the withdrawal form, email or phone.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information and pages requested, recorded in server logs for security, and the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not use advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with
- Payment providers: Stripe (card payments) and PayPal, which process payment data as independent controllers or processors and may carry out fraud checks.
- Delivery carriers: your name, address, phone number and email, so they can deliver and send tracking updates.
- Hosting and email: our website hosting provider (Hostinger) and email services that store data on our behalf.
- Authorities and advisers: where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK or the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as required by UK tax law.
- Messages and withdrawal requests: up to 3 years after our last contact, in case of follow-up questions or claims.
- Account data: until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise a right, email support@foldren.shop; we reply within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), or the authority in the EU country where you live or work (for example Datatilsynet in Denmark or the data protection authority of your German federal state).
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. Our payment providers may use automated fraud screening when you pay.
Security
Our website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Payments are handled by PCI DSS–compliant providers and your full card details never reach our servers. Access to customer data is limited to people who need it to help you.
Children
Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
